Just saw this article about Daikin's trading volume going up. As someone who works with air compressors daily, I'm curious if this is just a stock market thing or if it means anything for the tools we use. Any thoughts?

I wouldn't read too much into stock movements, honestly. Daikin is a big name but their air compressor division is just a part of their business. Unless they announce some new tech or price changes, it's probably just investors being investors. I'm more concerned about the price of my next compressor!

I saw that too! I mean, Daikin makes some solid compressors, but I don't think a stock blip changes how they work. Maybe they're getting into some new industrial stuff? That could affect demand for parts and accessories. But for now, I'm just happy my old one still runs.

True, but if they're expanding, maybe they'll release a new line of portable compressors? I could use a lighter one for jobsites. But you're right, stock price doesn't always equal product innovation. Guess we'll see.

Honestly, I just hope the article doesn't mean they'll raise prices. I've been eyeing one of their 60-gallon models for my shop. If it goes up, I might have to settle for a lesser brand. But I'll keep an eye on their announcements.
