Daikin stock going wild? Anyone using their compressors?

Just saw this, guys. Daikin stock is moving big time. I know they make huge industrial compressors, but anyone here use their stuff? I'm a garage gearhead, mostly tinkering with cars. Their small units any good?

Whoa, that's some serious volume. I'm just a weekend warrior, but I've seen Daikin in HVAC for sure. For shop air, I'd stick with the usual brands like Ingersoll or Quincy. But hey, if they start making affordable small compressors, might be interesting.

I've got a buddy who runs a fleet of Daikin commercial units at his auto body shop. He swears by 'em, says they are quiet and last forever. But they ain't cheap. Stock spike might be from some new contract or tech. I'd keep an eye on it.

Good to know, Hank. Quiet is a big plus. Might check them out for my garage if they ever sell direct. Right now I'm running a old Campbell Hausfeld that's louder than my drill press.
