Found a deal on a 60-gal compressor, worth it?

Hey guys, been shopping for a compressor for my garage. Saw this Craftsman 60-gallon 3.7 HP at a local pawn shop for $350. Looks barely used. Is that a good deal? Or should I pass? Need it for air tools and maybe painting.

Dude, that's a steal if it works. I paid like $600 for mine new a few years back. Check the tank for rust, run it to see if it holds pressure. Make sure the pump doesn't sound weird. If all good, grab it.

I'd second that. 60-gal is perfect for multiple tools and blasting. Just be careful with old tanks- they can develop pinholes. Also, check the drain valve and see if oil looks clean. 350 is decent even if you have to put a little money in.

If it's a Craftsman, it's probably a rebadged model from mfg like Coleman or similar. Still good quality. I bought a used one and it's been running for 5 years. Test it out and make sure the unloader valve doesn't leak. Might need a new pressure release valve, but that's cheap.
