So I just stumbled upon this DeWalt DCC2560B 20V Max air compressor at a clearance rack, marked down from $329 to $120! I'm a tool collector, so I couldn't resist. But I'm wondering – is it really worth it? I've heard some mixed reviews about battery-powered compressors. Anyone have experience with this model? Should I keep it or flip it?

Nice find! I've got a buddy who uses that exact compressor for small trim jobs and inflating tires. Honestly, for $120 it's a steal if you're already in the DeWalt battery system. It's not gonna run a nailer all day, but for quick tasks it's solid. I'd keep it if I were you – won't regret it for the price.

Whoa, that is a deal! But just a heads up: check the battery and charger condition. Some clearance items are returns with missing parts. Also, these battery compressors aren't as powerful as corded ones, but they're super portable. I'd test it with a full battery before deciding. Safety first!

I concur with Gary. I'm a safety inspector and I've seen people get burned by clearance deals that turned out to be missing safety guards or damaged. That said, DeWalt's 20V line is solid. For $120, I'd probably keep it and use it for inflating tires and light duty. Just make sure it's not a lemon.
