OSHA or nah? PPE for air compressor work

Just a friendly reminder to always wear your PPE when working with air compressors. I know it's tempting to skip the safety glasses, but I've seen too many guys get debris in their eyes. Also, ear protection is a must if you're running a loud compressor for extended periods. Better safe than sorry, right?

Couldn't agree more, Paul. I always double up on eye protection - safety glasses plus a face shield when using impact wrenches or air hammers. And yes, ears ring for days if you don't wear plugs. I learned that the hard way once. Now I keep a box of earplugs in my truck.

Good advice, guys. Also, don't forget to check your hoses and fittings regularly. A blown hose can whip around and cause serious injury. I always inspect before use and replace any worn parts. And kids, if you're using a nail gun, those can be nasty - always disconnect the air when not in use.
