Hey all, just a quick reminder. I was running my compressor all day yesterday and forgot my ear muffs. Man, my ears are still ringing. Even the smaller units can hit 90 decibels, and that's no joke. Protect your hearing, folks!

Good point, DrillMaster. I learned that the hard way too. Now I keep a pair of foam earplugs right in the compressor tool box. Cheap insurance. Also, don't forget safety glasses if you're using a blow gun – debris can fly.

Totally agree. I always double up – ear muffs over plugs when it's really loud. And for the eyes, I got a pair of those wrap-around safety glasses. Better safe than sorry, especially if you're in a dusty environment.

Thanks for the tip! I'm new to this and honestly didn't think about the noise. I'll grab some ear pro this weekend. Any specific brand you guys recommend?

I'm a fan of the 3M WorkTunes – they're Bluetooth and I can listen to music while I work. But for just earplugs, any foam ones with a good NRR rating work. And if you get muffs, make sure they fit over your safety glasses. Stay safe out there!
