So I found this 60gal, 5hp two-stage compressor at a garage sale for $200. It's a Champion, looked barely used. I'm in the market for one but not sure if it's worth the investment. What do you guys think? Should I grab it?

Champion makes solid units, and 60gal is plenty for most DIY and even professional work. I've had mine for 20 years and it still runs like a champ. At $200, that's a steal. Just check the tank for rust and make sure the pump is in good shape. If it runs, I'd say get it before someone else does.

I second Bob. I've got a 60gal IR that I use for my garage - everything from impact wrenches to sandblasting. That price is insane. Just be prepared for the electricity bill if you're running it a lot haha. Also, make sure you check the pressure switch and relief valve. If it holds air overnight without losing much, you're golden.

Thanks guys! I hooked it up to a temporary circuit and it runs great. Held air all day without a leak. I think I'm gonna buy it. Appreciate the input!

No problem! Congrats on the find. If you ever need to replace parts, Champion is still around and parts are available. Happy DIYing!
