Hey folks, saw this article about Daikin seeing strong trading volume. I know they make ACs and stuff, but also air compressors? Any thoughts on if this affects us DIYers? #Daikin #AirCompressors

Honestly, Daikin is more known for their HVAC systems, not so much for portable compressors. But if they're into industrial compressors, this stock news probably won't change prices for us hobbyists. I wouldn't worry about it, just keep an eye on the deals at Harbor Freight!

I've been in the trade for 40 years, and I've seen companies like this come and go. Trading volume doesn't mean they're making better tools. It's all about the financial markets. If you want a reliable compressor, stick with brands like Ingersoll Rand or Quincy. Don't get caught up in the hype.

Interesting! But I'm more interested in the tech—like are they coming out with a new silent compressor? That would be cool. Anyone know if Daikin makes anything for home workshops? Or is this just Wall Street noise?

Good points everyone. I guess I was just curious since air compressors are a staple in any shop. But yeah, probably not worth overthinking. I'll stick to my pancake compressor until it dies!
