Trane selling off? Any impact on their compressor tech?

Hey all, saw this article about Richard Bernstein Advisors selling Trane shares. I know they make big HVAC stuff, but do they also do air compressors? Curious if this means anything for their reliability or future products. Thoughts?

Trane is mostly commercial HVAC, not really our kinda compressors. But stock moves don't usually affect product quality. I'dnt worry about it unless they start cutting costs on parts.

I've got an old Trane portable compressor from the 80s, still runs like a champ. But that's before they got bought out. New stuff might be different. Stock sales could mean insiders think it's overvalued, not a quality issue.

Honestly, for budget buyers like me, Trane is too expensive anyway. I'll stick with my Makita quiet series. Stock news is just noise for us DIYers.

Good points. I'll keep an eye on their consumer line but prolly stick with my Ingersoll Rand for now. Thanks for the input!
