DeWalt vs Makita for Cordless Drills: Which One Should I Get?

Hey everyone, I'm in the market for a new cordless drill. I'm stuck between DeWalt and Makita. I do a lot of remodeling and need something that can handle heavy use. I've heard good things about both, but I can't decide. What's your experience with these brands?

DeWalt all the way! I've been using their drills for 10 years, never let me down. The build quality is solid, and their brushless motors are beasts. Plus, the battery system is compatible with a ton of their other tools. If you're already in the DeWalt ecosystem, stick with it. Makita is good but I see more failures on job sites.
