Found a sick deal on a Milwaukee M12 Fuel impact driver - worth it?

So I was browsing Amazon today and found the Milwaukee M12 Fuel 1/4" Hex Impact Driver for $99! That's like 40% off, normally it's $169. I've been needing an impact driver for small projects and this seems perfect. Is it worth pulling the trigger? I've heard good things about the M12 Fuel line but I'm new to this. Any advice?

Bob, that's a solid deal! I've been using the M12 Fuel driver for years on jobsites. It's got plenty of power for driving screws and even lags, and the battery life is great with the 4.0Ah XC. The size is compact so it fits in tight spots. For $99, you're getting a pro-grade tool at a steal. Definitely worth it. Just make sure it comes with a battery and charger, or factor that in if not. But if it's kit with battery, go for it!

I agree with Chris. I have a bunch of M12 stuff and the impact driver is one of my favorites. However, if you don't have any M12 batteries yet, you might want to look into the kit that comes with two batteries and a charger. Sometimes they go on sale for like $149, which is still a deal. But if this deal includes a battery, it's a no-brainer. Also, check if it's a brushless model - Fuel is brushless and that's the good one.

Just a heads up, I bought that exact driver last month and it's amazing. I'm a DIYer but I've used it to assemble furniture, build a deck, and even work on my car. It's got plenty of torque for anything I've thrown at it. And the compact size means I can use it in the engine bay without much trouble. For $99, I'd snag it ASAP. It's not a drill, so if you need to drill holes, you'd need a drill too, but for driving screws, it's perfect.
