Saw this killer deal on Milwaukee M18 impact wrenches at Harbor Freight - legit or too good to be true?

Hey y'all, just swung by Harbor Freight in Toledo and they've got the Milwaukee M18 Fuel 1/2" High Torque Impact Wrench (bare tool) on clearance for $129.99. Normally see these for like $250+. It's the 2861-20 model. Anyone know if this is a legit deal or if there's something wrong with this batch? I'm tempted to grab one for truck repairs but don't wanna get burned.

Whoa Paul, that's insane if true! I run those on my service rig for heavy equipment - they usually eat bolts for breakfast. At that price I'd buy two. Check the date code on the battery port though, might be old stock. Harbor Freight sometimes gets overstock from other retailers. If it's the Fuel version with the friction ring, jump on it. My foreman would kill for that deal.

lol typical sparky finding tools in the wrong store. But seriously, $130 for that wrench is steal. I've had mine 3 years doing HVAC installs - still zips lag bolts into concrete like butter. Only thing: make sure it's not the brushed motor version. Look for "Fuel" on the label. If it is, buy it and don't look back. Might wanna check if they have the mid-torque too for tighter spaces.

Electrician here - that's definitely suspicious pricing. Milwaukee doesn't usually let their Fuel line go that low unless it's discontinued. Check if it's the newer model with the 4-mode selector. The old ones had anvil issues. Still, even if it's last gen, $130 is less than half price. I'd say grab it but test it in the parking lot before leaving. Harbor Freight's return policy is decent if it's DOA.
