Hey guys, I just built a small shed for my gardening tools, but it's already full of sawdust and dirt from my recent projects. I need a good car vacuum to keep it clean. I'm on a tight budget, so what's the best cheap option that can handle wet and dry messes?

If you're on a budget, don't overlook the 'Shop-Vac' brand. I've got several, but the 5-gallon one is perfect for a shed. It picks up anything, and it's not too pricey. Plus, you can use it in your car too, obviously.

I second that. Shop-Vac is the way. But if you want something cordless, check out the DeWalt or Milwaukee wet/dry vacs. They're pricier, but they have that 'blower' feature that's great for cleaning out a shed quickly. Just a thought.

Honestly, for a shed, don't go cordless unless you really need it. Battery life is a pain. I've got a $40 Craftsman 4-gallon that's been through hell and back. It's got a blower port too, so you can hook up a hose and clean out tight spots. Just my two cents.

Thanks everyone! I think I'll go with the Shop-Vac 5-gallon. Can't beat the price. Appreciate the help!
