Just stumbled on this article about the best cordless vacuums for 2026: https://example.com/7-best-cordless-vacuums-2026. They say the line between home and car vacs is blurring. I'm thinking about upgrading my old shop vac. Anyone got a take on these new models?

Dude, if it's not a DeWalt, it's a waste. I've had the DeWalt DCV580 for years, still going strong. Those new gimmicky ones probly can't handle sawdust. Stick with the brand that works.

Hold up Hank, look for HEPA filters! Car interiors have all kinds of nasty dust. And make sure the voltage matches your other tools, else you'll have charger clutter. Safety first, go cordless but get a decent battery system.

I use a Milwaukee M18 for my truck. It's got good suction and fits under seats. But honestly, for woodworking dust it fills up quick. The article mentions some with larger bins, which would be nice. Anyone tried the new Rigid ones?

Thanks guys! I'll check out those brands. Sounds like battery compatability is key. Might wait for some reviews on those 2026 models before pulling the trigger.
