Hey guys, my Dyson V15 stick vac just stopped charging. It's only 6 months old. Plug it in, nothing lights up. Tried different outlets, same thing. Anyone had this issue?

Could be a faulty charger or battery pack. First, check if the charger itself puts out voltage with a multimeter. If that's fine, the BMS in the battery might have tripped. Try leaving it on the charger for 24hrs. Some Dysons need a hard reset. Also, make sure the contacts are clean.

I've seen this before. The issue is often the thermal fuse inside the battery. If you're handy, you can open the pack and replace it. But if under warranty, just call Dyson. They're pretty good about replacements.

Also check the charging port on the vac itself. My cat knocked mine off the charger and bent a pin. Had to bend it back with tweezers. If that's not it, sounds like a warranty claim. 6 months old? That's BS.

Thanks all. Tried the hard reset, no luck. I'll check the charger with a multimeter later. If it's the charger, I'll just get a new one. Otherwise, I'll call Dyson. Appreciate the help!
