Stumbled upon a Rigid 4 gal wet/dry vac for $40 at Home Depot. Normally like $70. Anyone use this for car detailing? I need something that can get in tight spots but also has some power.

I've got the 4 Gal Rigid at home and use it for my truck all the time. It's a beast for the price. Just get the car detailing kit with the crevice tool and brush, you'll be set. For $40 that's a steal.

Dewalt makes a 5 gallon that's better IMO. But for $40, that's a good deal. Just make sure to empty it often cause the filter clogs fast on fine dust. I'd still go Dewalt though. Lol.

I've used both. The Rigid is fine for occasional use. Dewalt's filter system is better but you're paying double. For $40 I'd grab it before it's gone. I've had mine for 3 years no issues.
