Need a car vac for cleaning up after deck build?

Hey all, I just finished building a cedar deck in my backyard and the car is full of sawdust and wood chips. I'm looking for a good car vacuum that can handle that kind of mess. Any recommendations? I don't want to spend a fortune, but I want something that actually sucks.

For car detailing, I've had great luck with the DeWalt 2-gallon cordless. It's got enough suction for sawdust, and the cordless convenience is killer. A bit pricey, but it lasts. If you're on a budget, the Stanley wet/dry vac at Walmart does the job for like $40, just bulky.

Make sure you get one with a HEPA filter if you're sucking up fine sawdust - that stuff gets everywhere and regular filters clog fast. I use a Milwaukee packout vac, but it's overkill. Also, get a crevice tool, you'll thank me when you're digging out the seat cracks.

I'll second the Stanley - I've had mine for 5 years, threw it around, it still works. But for car interior, the hose is stiff. If you want something more flexible, look at the Rigid 3-gallon - it has a nice hose and decent suction. Also, consider a small brush attachment to get the dust off the dash.
