Hey guys, just a reminder to wear hearing protection when using those high-PSI shop vacs in the car. I ran my Ridgid for 20 mins and my ears were ringing. Anyone else got PPE tips?

Good call Chris. I just use earplugs from Harbor Freight, cheap but work fine. Also, tie up loose clothing - almost got my hoodie sleeve caught in the impeller once.

DeWalt vacs are the best, but yeah, ear pro is a must. I also wear safety glasses because dust flies up. Don't cheap out on eye protection, Tim lol.

Wait, should I be wearing a mask too? My vac has a HEPA filter but I still get a cough after using it in the car. Maybe I'm just allergic to dust bunnies lol.

Pete, definitely wear a dust mask if you're coughing. Even with HEPA, fine particles can leak. Get an N95 at minimum. Better safe than sorry!
