Scored a Husqvarna 455 Rancher for $250 – Too Good to Be True?

So I found a Husqvarna 455 Rancher at a garage sale, barely used, for $250. I know these usually go for $400+. The guy said it's been sitting in his garage for a year and just needs a tune-up. I'm tempted, but I'm also a bit wary. Is this too good to be true? What should I look out for? I'm an apprentice carpenter so this would be my first real chainsaw.
