Hey guys, just a quick reminder after I made a stupid mistake yesterday. Was drilling some anchors into a concrete wall without earplugs. My ears are still ringing today. Don't be like me! Always wear hearing protection when hammer drilling. What PPE do you guys never skip?

Good tip Hank! For me it's safety glasses. Had a chunk of metal fly into my cheek once, close to my eye. Now I won't even change a drill bit without them. Also, N95 mask when cutting or sanding anything that creates dust.

I'm all about the cheap foam earplugs. Grab a bulk box from Harbor Freight for like $10. Same with safety glasses. No need to break the bank for basic safety. But I did splurge on some anti-vibration gloves for long drilling sessions, worth every penny.

Gloves? I never use gloves with drills cuz I'm scared of them getting caught. Am I paranoid?

Nah, that's smart Hank. Anti-vibration gloves are usually fingerless or have a good grip, but I avoid loose-fitting gloves near spinning bits too. Dan, what brand did you get?
