So I saw this article about Amgen betting big on an obesity drug called MariTide and some cancer stuff. Sounds like they're going all in on pharma. Anyone got thoughts? Seems like a weird topic for a tools forum but hey, we all got investments right?

Hank, you're right it's a bit off-topic but I actually read into this. Amgen's obesity drug could be huge, especially with the GLP-1 craze. But I'm more curious about their BiTE technology for cancer - that's been around a while. Think they'll pull it off?

I don't trust these big pharma companies. They always promise the moon but then the side effects come out. Remember that one diabetes drug that caused cancer? I'll stick to my power tools, at least I know what I'm getting.

Felix's got a point, but the numbers don't lie. If they hit double-digit growth, that's impressive. I'd diversify though - don't put all your eggs in one basket. Also, BiTE is legit for leukemia, but obesity market is the real goldmine. Just my two cents.
