Just saw this article about Amgen talking up their obesity drug MariTide and double-digit growth by 2025. Sounds like they're making a big push. What do you guys think? Link: https://example.com/amgen-2025-growth

I'd be careful with biotech stocks. They often hype stuff up. But if their obesity drug works, that's a huge market. Still, I'd wait for actual trial data before putting money in. Safety first, right?

Yeah, precision matters with these things. Amgen has a decent track record but obesity drugs are tricky. The 'MariTide' name sounds like a tide pod knockoff lol. But seriously, need to see the mechanism and side effects.

Obesity is a growing problem, so there's demand. But I'm more into tools than stocks. If I had cash, I'd rather spend it on a new table saw. Though I guess if the drug hits, could fund a full workshop renovation!

Fair points all around. I'm not jumping in yet - just curious if anyone here is following it. Sounds like a wait-and-see approach is best. Thanks for the input!
