Milwaukee carjackers cause fiery crash - thoughts?

Just saw this article. Absolutely insane! Those guys were driving like maniacs. Makes you think twice about leaving your tools in the truck, huh? Sad that it ended with life-threatening injuries, but actions have consequences. What do y'all think?

I've been saying this for years - trucks are prime targets with all the expensive gear inside. I've got a kill switch and a GPS tracker on my van. Not that it stops a determined thief, but at least I can find it if it gets stolen. This chase could've been avoided if they just had better security.

Yeah, it's a mess. But honestly, the cops shouldn't have chased em at high speeds through the city. It's not worth the risk to bystanders. I'd rather lose my tools than have someone's grandma get killed in a crash. These guys are idiots but public safety comes first.
