Hey everyone, just a friendly reminder to always wear your safety glasses when using power drivers, even if you're just driving a few screws. I learned the hard way last week - a screw stripped and a piece of metal flew right into my eye. Luckily, I had my glasses on, but it could've been bad. Stay safe out there!

Good point, Wendy! I always wear mine, but I've seen too many folks skip them. A buddy of mine got a metal splinter in his eye once, and it was not fun. Also, consider a face shield if you're doing heavy work. Better safe than sorry!

Thanks for the tip, Wendy! I'm pretty new to using drivers, and I sometimes forget. But now I'll make sure to grab my glasses every time. Do you have any recommendations for comfortable ones that don't fog up? I sweat a lot when working in the garage.

Bob, I use the 3M Virtua CCS safety glasses - they're cheap and have anti-fog coating. They fit over my regular glasses too. Another trick: wear a bandana to soak up sweat, or use a fan. Stay safe!

I also like the ones with adjustable temples. And hey, if you're using impact drivers, consider gloves for vibration protection. Your hands will thank you later. Happy building!
