Score! $50 off the Dewalt DCF887? Is this a good buy?

Just saw a deal on Amazon for the Dewalt 20V MAX XR brushless impact driver (DCF887) for $99! Normally $149. I've got a couple impacts already, but this seems like a steal. Anyone have experience with this model? Should I pull the trigger?

That's a solid driver, Rick! I use mine daily in the shop. Lots of torque and the LED is great for tight spots. For $99, I'd say grab it. You can never have too many impacts, right? 😂

Yeah, I got one last year on sale. Works fine for what I do - deck building, furniture assembly. But if you're on a budget, check the Ryobi One+ HP brushless. Often goes for $79 with a battery. Just sayin'.

Dewalt? Meh. Milwaukee or nothing. The M18 Fuel Surge is way smoother and quieter. But for the price, it's a decent backup. Just don't expect it to hold up to a Milwaukee on a jobsite.

Fair point Hank, but I already have Dewalt batteries. And I'm not a pro, just a weekend warrior. I think I'll grab it. Thanks guys!
