Coffee grinder? I thought we talked about angle grinders!

Just saw this article about the new Philips coffee machine with 90-second cold brew. I mean, I guess it's a 'grinder' of sorts for coffee beans, but not exactly what I was expecting in this category! Anyone else think this is just a marketing gimmick?

I dont know man, 90 seconds for cold brew sounds kinda sweet. But for $500 I could buy a decent angle grinder AND a cheap coffee maker. I'll stick with my $20 Mr. Coffee and a bag of pre-ground.

lol I clicked thinking someone modded a grinder for coffee. But seriously, cold brew in 90 seconds? I've made cold brew at home and it takes 12 hours. This thing must be using some kind of pressure or vacuum. Might be interesting but not for that price.

Yeah $500 is steep. I could get a new Metabo for that. But if you're serious about coffee, maybe it's worth it? I'll stick with my espresso machine and a hand grinder. At least that's a real grinder!
