Anyone else use a shed for lawn equipment storage? Thoughts on this Arrow deal?

Just saw this deal for the Arrow 10x14 galvanized steel shed at $550. Seems like a decent price for the size. I've been thinking about getting a shed for my mower and gear, but I'm not sure about the quality or assembly. What do you guys think? Is this a good buy or should I look elsewhere?

Honestly, for $550 that's a steal! I've had my Arrow shed for about 5 years now. It's held up great through snow and heavy rain. Assembly is a bit of a pain (lots of screws), but if you have a power drill with a hex bit, it's manageable. Just make sure you anchor it down good. I got my 10x12 for $700, so $550 for a 10x14 is a great deal. Go for it!

I'm a bit skeptical about the 'select' grade steel. They might use thinner gauge than the premium ones. But for storing a lawn mower and stuff, it should be fine. The bigger issue is the floor - you'll need to either pour a concrete slab or use a wooden base. The floor kit is extra, so factor that into the cost. Still, if you're handy, it's a good project.

I've built a couple of Arrow sheds. They're decent, but let me tell you, the instructions are not the clearest. And sometimes the parts don't line up perfectly. But for the price, you can't beat it. Just take your time and use some silicone caulk on the seams to prevent leaks. Also, I'd recommend getting the floor kit - didn't the first time and had critters getting in. Overall, good value.

Thanks guys! Appreciate the input. I think I might go for it then. I'll definitely consider the floor kit and maybe a concrete pad. I'll have to check if it's available for pickup near me. Anyone have tips on how to transport it? It's going to be a big box.
