Hey everyone, just a friendly reminder to always wear your PPE when doing lawn work. I was trimming weeds along the fence yesterday and a tiny rock flew up and hit my safety glasses. Glad I had them on! It would've been a trip to the ER for sure. Stay safe out there!

Glad you're okay, Chris! And you're so right. I always wear eye protection plus ear protection when using my trimmer. The noise can really damage your hearing over time. I even wear a face shield when doing heavy clearing. Better safe than sorry!

Absolutely! I also recommend wearing long pants and sturdy boots. I've seen too many people get hit in the shins with debris. And if you're using a brush cutter, a full face shield is a must. I upgraded to a mesh one that doesn't fog up, worth every penny.

Good tip, Chris. I'll add that you should also consider gloves. I got a nasty blister last week because I was gripping the trimmer too hard without gloves. Plus, they help with vibration. Just make sure they're not too bulky. What kind of safety glasses are you all using?
