Hey guys, just picked up the DeWalt 20V MAX blower for $99 at Home Depot. It's the DCMBLP2, the one with the brushless motor. Normally like $179. I've been using a corded Toro for years, but I'm trying to go battery. Anyone used this? Is it worth keeping or should I return it and wait for a better deal?

Nice find! I've got the Makita version, but I've heard good things about that DeWalt. It's pretty powerful for a handheld - about 100 CFM. For $99 that's a steal. Battery life isn't bad if you have a couple 5Ah packs. I'd say keep it unless you're planning on doing pro landscaping. For home use, it's perfect.

I'm old school, still use a gas Echo. But if you're already on DeWalt, get into those 60V FlexVolt tools. The 60V blower is a beast. That said, $99 is a good price for the 20V. I borrowed my neighbor's once and it cleared my driveway pretty quick. Just don't expect it to move wet leaves.

Thanks guys. I've got a few 5Ah batteries already from my drill set. I think I'll keep it. @SawDustSteve576 I looked at the 60V but it's more than double the price. For home use I think the 20V will do. Appreciate the input!
