Check this out - Walmart's got lawn mowers for $36 right now ahead of spring. That's crazy cheap, but is it any good? I mean, you get what you pay for, but for that price, even a basic reel mower might be worth it for small yards. What do you all think? Any experience with these bargain mowers?

I saw that too. $36 is suspiciously low. Probably one of those tiny electric ones or a manual reel mower that's only good for a postage stamp lawn. If you've got any real grass, you're gonna be killing your back. Plus, the quality is likely garbage - cheap plastic wheels, blades that dull in one season. I'd stay away unless you have a tiny patch of grass and don't mind replacing it every year. But hey, for some folks, that might be fine.

Before anyone buys, check the safety features - if it's an electric mower, make sure it has a blade brake and a proper guard. Also, consider the cord if it's corded - you don't want to be running over your extension cord. And like Hank said, quality might be lacking. But if you're a homeowner with a small, flat lawn, it might be okay for the price. Just do your research and read reviews.
