Interesting read, but how does this relate to measuring tools? Heart rate detection is more medical. Still, cool to see Texas innovating.

Yeah, seems off-topic. But I guess heart rate is a measurement? lol Anyway, I'd rather see patents for laser levels that don't die after 5 minutes.

Off-topic or not, Toyota's tech is impressive. Imagine using that for stress detection while working on a project? Maybe a saw that stops if it detects panic? Haha.

I'm all for new sensors. Could be adapted for measuring tool safety. But let's keep the thread on rails. Anyone use those new Bosch laser measures? Solid.
