DeWalt vs Makita Pliers: Which One Survives the Job Site?

Alright folks, I'm in the market for some new pliers. I've been loyal to DeWalt for years, but I'm hearing good things about Makita's new lines. Specifically, I'm looking at their combination pliers and needle nose. Anyone have real-world experience? Which brand holds up better for daily abuse?

Warranty is a mixed bag. DeWalt will replace without fuss, but Makita's is longer - 5 years vs 2. I had a pair of Makita cutters snap a screw, sent 'em in, got new ones in a week. DeWalt was fine too, just shorter coverage. In the end, it's about what you'll use 'em for. Both are decent, but if I had to pick one brand to bet my livelihood on, it's Makita.
