Hey guys, found some Knipex Cobra pliers at a garage sale for $20. They look barely used! I mostly do woodworking, but I know these are popular for plumbing etc. Worth picking up for general shop use?

Steve, that's a steal! Knipex are top tier. I use their pliers wrenches daily for renovations. For $20, grab 'em even if you just keep 'em as backups. They'll last forever.

Second that. I've had a pair of Cobras on my roof for 5 years. Take abuse like a champ. Just check they ain't counterfeit – real ones have smooth adjustment and stamped part numbers.

Thanks guys! Checked the numbers, they're legit. Gonna grab 'em for sure. Now to find an excuse to use em in the shop lol.

Haha you'll find uses. I use mine to pull nails and hold nuts when I'm too lazy to grab a wrench. Welcome to the Knipex club!
