Hey folks, just picked up a set of Knipex Cobra pliers at a garage sale for $20! They look almost new. I know these are usually pricey, but I'm not sure if they're worth the hype. Anyone used them? Should I keep or flip?

Knipex are top-notch, but always check for wear on the adjustment mechanism. At that price, it's a steal if they're genuine. Make sure they aren't fakes - check the laser engraving. Also, don't forget to oil the joint. Good find!

I've got a pair of Cobras that's lasted 10 years and still going strong. $20 is a no-brainer. You'll love the grip and the push-button adjustment. Keep 'em, you'll use 'em more than you think. Did they come with the belt pouch?

No pouch, just the pliers. But they feel solid. I'll take your word and keep them. Thanks for the tip on checking the engraving - it looks legit. Can't beat Knipex for the price!
