Snagged a set of Knipex Cobras for $30 - too good to be true?

Hey guys, was browsing at a pawn shop today and found a set of Knipex Cobra pliers (10 inch) for $30. They looked barely used, maybe just a little dust. I know these normally go for like $50-60. Did I just get the deal of the year or is there something sketchy? Anyone ever run into fakes?

Nice find! Knipex are top tier, I only buy German tools. At $30 those are a steal. I'd check for the forged markings on the side and make sure the adjustment button is crisp. If they're real, you better buy me one too haha.

I've been using the same Knipex Cobras for 5 years in my garage, they're beasts. Even if they're used, $30 is a no-brainer. Just make sure the jaws line up tight and the gripping teeth aren't worn down. Worst case, you got a decent clone for cheap. I'd say go for it.

Thanks for the tips! I inspected them before buying - the stamping looked legit, button was smooth. I went ahead and got 'em. First project: pulling a seized bolt on my deck. Already impressed with the grip. Probably going back to see if they got more Knipex stuff lol.
