Hey Tool Discount Club fam! Just unboxed my new Knipex Cobra pliers and I'm stoked! Got the 10" ones with the push-button adjustment. The grip is insane - feels like they could crush rocks. Been staring at them on my workbench for an hour lol. What should my first project be? Thinking maybe a custom bike rack or some garden trellis? Open to ideas!

Nice grab Larry! Those Knipex are legit - we use them all the time for plumbing fittings during inspections. Pro tip: break them in on something simple first. Try adjusting some stubborn hose clamps or pulling nails. The push-button mechanism can be stiff when new. Also, check for any burrs on the jaws - had a buddy get a pair with rough edges that marred chrome fittings.

Oooh shiny! I have 14 pairs of Cobras in my collection (different sizes/years). The 10" is perfect for general use! For a first project - how about a small toolbox organizer? Use them to bend some aluminum strips. PS: If you're into collecting, the 2023 models have a slightly different button design - worth grabbing if you see them on sale!
