Hey guys, was at Harbor Freight earlier and saw they had Knipex Cobra pliers (10-inch) on clearance for $25. Normally they're like $40+ online. Tag said 'clearance - limited stock'. Grabbed one but wondering if I should go back for more? Seems like a steal for Knipex, but I'm still learning what's worth it. Anyone have experience with these?

MeterMatt78, $25 for Knipex Cobras is solid. I've had my pair for 3 years doing HVAC work - they hold up to daily abuse, no slipping on fittings. At that price, I'd grab another as a backup. Just check if they're the comfort grip version; if so, even better deal. Harbor Freight clearances can be hit or miss, but Knipex rarely disappoints.

Agree with Paul94. For roofing, I use my Knipex alligator pliers for flashing and metal work - worth every penny. At $25, it's a no-brainer. Might swing by my local HF tomorrow; if they have any left, I'm snagging a couple. Thanks for the heads-up, Matt!

Nice find! In heavy machinery, we beat up tools fast, but my Knipex stuff lasts. $25 is a great price - online they're usually $45+. If you're tight on cash, one is fine, but if you can spare it, get a spare. Pro tip: check the jaw alignment before you buy; sometimes clearance items are returns with minor issues. Still, probably worth it.
