Battery not charging on my Karcher K2

Hey guys, I've got a Karcher K2 pressure washer that's about a year old. The battery won't charge at all. I've checked the outlet, tried a different cable, but nothing. Anyone had this issue before? It's the 18V cordless model.

I had the same problem with my Ryobi. Turns out the charger was the issue, not the battery. Do you have a multimeter? Check if the charger is outputting voltage. Also, sometimes the contacts get dirty. Clean 'em with a pencil eraser.

Sam163, I've seen this a lot. If the charger checks out, the battery's BMS might be faulty. You can try jumpstarting the battery if you're handy, but it's risky. Honestly, might be time for a new battery if it's out of warranty.

Thanks for the tips! I'll try the multimeter first. I'm not great with electronics, but I can do that. If it's the battery, guess I'll have to buy a new one. Sucks 'cause these aren't cheap.
