Battery not charging on new pressure washer?

Hey guys, just unboxed my new cordless pressure washer (Greenworks 2300 PSI) and the battery won't charge. It's been on the charger for 2 hours and still blinking red. Tried a different outlet, no dice. Any ideas before I return it?

Blinking red usually means battery is too hot or too cold. Have you let it sit at room temp for a bit? Also check if the charger has a reset button. Happened to me once and a simple reset fixed it.

yeah what Rick said. Also could be a bad battery contact. Try cleaning the terminals with a dry cloth. If that doesn't work, it might be a DOA battery. Sucks, but Greenworks warranty is pretty good.

Thanks! Let it cool down for an hour, cleaned the contacts, still blinking. I'll call Greenworks tomorrow. Just wanted to see if there was a easy fix I was missing. Appreciate the help!
