Best Pressure Washer for Deck Cleaning & Cabinets?

Hey everyone, new to the forum! I've got a 20-year-old deck that's seen better days, and a couple of old cabinets I want to refinish. I've never owned a pressure washer, but I'm ready to invest. What should I look for? Electric or gas? PSI? GPM? I've got about $300 to spend, and I want something that'll last. Also, any tips for cleaning without damaging the wood?
