Deck Cleaning Showdown: Electric vs Gas Pressure Washer?

Hey folks, I'm about to tackle my 500 sq ft composite deck. It's got some mildew and grime. I'm torn between an electric (like a 1700 PSI) and a gas-powered (3000 PSI) model. I've heard electric is safer for composite, but gas has more power. Any advice? I don't want to damage the deck!

But honestly, for a smaller deck, electric is plenty and lighter. My buddy has the Sun Joe electric and it does fine. Just keep the nozzle moving and you'll be good.
