DeWalt vs Makita Pressure Washer? Which one's the real workhorse?

Alright folks, I'm in the market for a new electric pressure washer, mainly for cleaning decks, driveways, and the occasional car. I've narrowed it down to the DeWalt DWPW2100 and the Makita XRW01Z (the cordless one). The DeWalt has a bit more psi but the Makita is brushless and lighter. Anyone have experience with either? Is the extra grunt of the DeWalt worth it or is the Makita's convenience a game changer?

I've used both on job sites. The DeWalt is a beast for heavy grime but it's heavy and the cord can be a pain if you're moving around a lot. The Makita is great for portability, especially if you have other Makita batteries. But keep in mind the runtime isn't huge on a single battery when you're really blasting. For a weekend warrior, I'd say the Makita is fine, but if you're doing full driveways every weekend, get the DeWalt.

I went with the Makita because I'm already in the ecosystem. It's handled my fence and patio fine, but I did have to buy an extra battery. The lack of a cord is so nice though, I don't trip over it. One tip: if you go Makita, get the high-pressure nozzle kit, the stock nozzle is kinda meh.

Thanks guys. I think I'm leaning towards the DeWalt since I'm usually near an outlet and I've got a big driveway. The extra power sounds good for the mold spots. Appreciate the input!

Smart move. Just make sure to use a heavy-duty extension cord if you need one, and don't forget to winterize it if you're in a cold area. Good luck!
