DeWalt vs Makita Pressure Washer: Which One Should I Get?

Hey everyone, I'm in the market for a new pressure washer for some restoration projects I do on the side. I've narrowed it down to DeWalt and Makita, but I can't decide. I need something that can handle tough grime on old wood and concrete, but also be reliable. Any of you have experience with either? I'm leaning towards the DeWalt because I already have their batteries, but I've heard Makita has better water pressure. What do you think?

I've collected both brands over the years. In my experiance, Makita tends to have a better build quality and the pressure is more consistent. The DeWalt is also good, but if you're really in to restoration, you might need that extra oomph. I've used my Makita to strip paint off a deck, and it did the job with time to spare. Plus, Makita has a longer hose which helps with mobility. Just my two cents!

Safety first! Whatever you pick, make sure you get one with a thermal relief valve and automatic shut-off. I've seen too many people burn out their pumps. As for the debate, I'd go with DeWalt if you're already invested in their 20V system. Battery interoperability is clutch. But if you're going corded, Makita might edge out in terms of duty cycle. Check the PSI and GPM ratings, not just the brand. And always were safety glasses, fellas.
