DeWalt vs Makita Pressure Washers - Which One Should I Get?

Alright folks, I'm in the market for a new pressure washer. I've narrowed it down to DeWalt and Makita, both around 3000 PSI. I plan to use it for cleaning my driveway, siding, and occasionally my car. I've read some reviews but I'm torn. I like DeWalt's reputation for toughness, but Makita seems to have a good following too. Any advice from personal experience? Safety first, of course!

I've had a Makita for 3 years now. It's been a workhorse. Paid a bit more upfront but it's still going strong. Had to replace a nozzle once, but that's typical. Honestly, for consumer use, the pump type matters less than maintenance. I've seen axial pumps fail just as fast as verticals if folks don't use proper technique, like not letting it run with no water flow. I'd say go with the one that fits your budget and has good reviews for the model you're getting. They all have lemons. Just check the PSI and GPM - don't get fooled by just high PSI.
