Hey folks, I'm torn between the DeWalt DWPW2400 and the Makita PW2100. I've got a driveway that's seen better days and a deck that's starting to grow moss. I want something that'll last and pack a punch. Any opinions?

I've used both, honestly. The Makita is lighter and easier to move around, but the DeWalt has that higher PSI that just blasts through grime. For heavy-duty jobs, I'd go DeWalt. The Makita is great for smaller tasks though.

Budget-wise, the DeWalt is cheaper right now on Amazon, and it comes with more attachments. I've had mine for 2 years, no issues. Makita's are nice but you're paying for the name.

I'm a Makita fanboy for their drills, but for pressure washers, I've heard the DeWalt has a better pump. My neighbor has the Makita and had to replace the pump after a year. Just sayin'.

Actually, check the warranty. DeWalt offers 3 years, Makita only 1. That seals it for me. Go with the DeWalt, you won't regret it.
