Alright fellas, I made a rookie mistake today. Was pressure washing my deck and didn't bother with safety glasses. A little pebble shot up and caught me right in the eye. Luckily no serious damage, but I'm typing this one-handed while holding an ice pack. Don't be like me. Wear your PPE!

Yikes! Glad you're okay Steve. I've only used my washer a couple times, never thought about flying debris. Did you have the nozzle on turbo? Also, what kind of glasses do you recommend? I got some cheap ones from the hardware store but they fog up.

I always say, you can buy cheap safety glasses by the dozen. Just throw 'em away if they scratch. But honestly, Steve, you got lucky. I knew a guy who lost an eye from a pressure washer. For Felix, try the anti-fog wipes or get ones with vents. They're not that expensive.

Steve, glad you're okay. But for the record, proper PPE is not optional. I use a full face shield when I'm doing anything high pressure. Also, make sure you're using the right tip. A 0-degree tip is just asking for trouble. I switched to a 15-degree for most jobs and it's way safer.
