My Karcher K7 won't start - battery dead?

Hey guys, my Karcher K7 pressure washer was working fine last week, but today it won't start. The battery indicator shows red, and it won't charge. I tried a different outlet, no luck. Any ideas?

Check the battery contacts for corrosion or dirt. Sometimes they get grimy. Also, if the battery is more than 2 years old, it might just be shot. Karcher batteries are known to fail. You could try jumpstarting with a known good battery if you have one.

I've seen that before. Could also be the charger. Got a multimeter? Test the charger output. If it's dead, you'll need a new one. Also, some Karchers have a thermal fuse inside the battery that trips if it overheated. Let it cool down then try again.

Thanks, fellas. I'll check the contacts and borrow a multimeter from a buddy. The battery is about 3 years old, so maybe it's just time. Appreciate the help!
