Hey all, my cordless pressure washer just died on me mid-job. It's a Greenworks 2000 PSI. Battery is fully charged (light shows green), but when I pull the trigger, nothing happens. No motor hum, no water spray. It was working fine yesterday. Any ideas?

Wendy, check the safety lock on the gun first. If that's not it, might be the switch on the unit. Also, sometimes the thermal overload trips after heavy use. Let it cool down for 30 mins and try again. Did you maybe run it with no water? That can damage the pump and trigger a shutdown.

Agree with Felix. Also, even if the battery shows green, sometimes the contacts get dirty. Clean the battery terminals with a bit of alcohol. And check if there's any water in the battery compartment - that'll kill the connection. Had that happen with my Ryobi once.

Thanks guys. I did let it cool down and checked the lock - no dice. I'll clean the contacts and check for moisture. If that doesn't work, looks like a trip to the service center. Appreciate the tips!
