Oil field tech in the tool world? ACT Energy's big buy

Just saw this: Calgary's ACT Energy is buying SB Directional from Oklahoma. Seems like a big move in the directional drilling game. What do you guys think? Any implications for the rotary tool market or is this just oil patch noise?
