Rotary tools? More like shaving tools?

So I found this article about electric razors and shavers... I know it's not power tools, but the tech in rotary razors is kinda similar to our rotary tools? Thought it might be interesting to see what you guys think. Any of you use these for like finishing work? Or is it just me?

Ha, I've used a rotary tool for trimming drywall, but never on my face! But seriously, I've seen some guys use those multi-tool oscillating things for detail sanding, but for shaving? That's a new one. Maybe they got some ideas for our tools? Like integrated lights or something?

I stick to my cordless rotary for cutting tile and grinding, not for beard trimming. But I gotta say, the battery tech in those high-end razors is impressive. Maybe we'll see some of that in our drills soon. Also, I've heard some of those are waterproof, kinda like our impact drivers now. Not that I'd take a shower with my drill.

Honestly, I've got a cheap rotary for hobby stuff, and I use a straight razor for shaving. No comparison. But I did read that article, and some of those electric razors have like flexible heads - sorta like our angle grinder attachments. Maybe they're onto something. But I'll stick to my blades and sandpaper.
